What Happens Behind the Scenes
A traveling newborn session involves much more than arriving with a camera. Before I leave home, I carefully pack everything we may need for your session, including my collapsible studio setup, wraps, outfits, backdrops, posing supplies, lighting equipment, and other newborn essentials.
Once I arrive, I bring everything inside and create a small newborn studio right in your home. I set up the backdrop, lighting, and posing area while making sure the room is warm and comfortable for your baby. After the session, I carefully pack everything back up and take it with me, leaving you with beautiful memories without requiring you to prepare or clean up a studio space.
Instead of working from a traditional studio, I created a traveling newborn studio that allows me to bring the entire experience right into your home. I provide professional loghting and everything needed to create the same consistent images, all while you and your baby remain comfortable in your own space.
Newborn sessions are always led by your baby. We pause whenever your little one needs to eat, be changed, soothed, or held. I never want a parent to feel rushed, and I never force a baby into a pose that is not comfortable for them. Your baby's comfort and safety will always come before getting a particular photograph.

I offer traveling newborn sessions because I understand how difficult it can be to leave home shortly after giving birth. You may still be healing, learning your baby's schedule, running on very little sleep, or caring for older children too. The last thing I want is for family photographs to become another stressful item on your to-do list.
By bringing the studio to you, I can help remove some of that pressure. You do not have to pack a diaper bag, load everyone into the car, worry about arriving late, or make a long drive with a newborn. You can stay in the place where you and your baby are already most comfortable.
